Speaking of Flags ....

Last summer I requested a flag be flown over the Capitol in honor of my son's Eagle Scout Court of Honor.

The check I sent never cleared, the follow up email got no response and the flag never arrived.

Two weeks ago I got a call from someone in my senator's office asking me to call at my earliest convienence re. the flag.

I called and the woman apologized for the error, was able to get me a Reserve Flag that had flown over the capitol on the appropriate day and it arrived last week.

I found a beautiful Flag/Certificate display case - Made in the USA - which will be here on Thursday! This company even makes cases with the Boy Scout emblem or Eagle Scout Medal engraved on the glass (although my son chose the flying Eagle)
