Spam mail cracks me up

[ Edited ]

Today I received an email from a tractor company! Smiley Very HappyIt made me laugh--I've never been within 10 miles of a tractor and wouldn't know what to do with it if I had one. I also wonder how they got my name and email but I'm sure I'll never know.

If you ever clicked on an add (it actually has add on it) you'll start getting them, and whatever site you visit or any site you buy from, they sell your information, you might be surprised to know the United States Post Office also sells your info.

I get at least 30 a day during EVERY HOLIDAY season.

I have several email accounts, one of which I use for facebook -

And that's the one that gets bombarded with ad emails for everything from viagra to building a new house!

They all go to spam, and I just delete them.  But some sites do sell your info to these advertisers.

I don't know if, in my case, it is facebook or what, but it's the only email account with this problem.

it feels to me as if I even set foot outside onto the internet, I get bombarded!

Does the internet know EVERYTHING about me?

Sad, but true!

I will look up something on a health issue, and suddenly pop-ups on that subject will show on another browser.

I keep clearing my history to delete all that.

Was it The Tractor Supply Company? I've bought some clothes from them.

Suddenly i'm being spammed by Command Cooking emails and their clones.  Professional Cooking, Heartland Cooking, ad nauseum.   i suspect it was due to browsing a site offering 5 eyeglass frames to try out from an eyewear vendor because their ads are in the email.

the email is all links and ads don't want to click on any of the links including UNSUBSCRIBE

I have 2 email accounts. My preferred account I only give to my family and close friends for really important things. My church and doctors also have this email. That account stays fairly "clean" from junk emails.

My second account is for all the "junk" emails. I use this address for online purchases. I used to get about 25 junk emails a month, but something has really changed recently. I am getting about 200 junk emails every few days now!

They are from all kinds of businesses. Everything from shopping, credit, congratulations you have won something, your package is waiting, etc. I used to unsubscribe to these emails, but I don't even want to open these for fear they'll get more info on me. I just do a mass delete.
