@Stormygirl I have found that most of those calls are telemarketers and they take a large percentage of your donation.I always ask if they are a telemarketer and won't donate if they are.

@Stormygirl Sometimes I like to play games with the spam people. One caller told me that my windows needed cleaning from viruses.I told her no my windows were just cleaned and they did a great job of getting rid of the grime. The lady in an exasperated voice said mam" I am talking about your computer".I replied roto router...thought we were talking about my windows. She hung up.Another time I answered and before they could get a word in I told them I was so glad they called.I am lonely, stuck at home with explosive diarrhea and nobody to visit with. What do ya know that person hung up too.LOL

@CelticCrafter I use Nomorobo, too, and it's working really well! I agree, no need to pay for additional equipment or services to block calls. The house is blissfully quiet now!

I received the most maddening call yesterday, and they got me! The caller ID said, Kaiser Permanente, so I answered and immediatley a sales call began. Hi, we have been trying to get hold of you!! Then she went on, I tried to interupt, but I think it was a robo call. I hung up in the midst of the second sentence. That is criminal do use Kaiser!!! My daughters use kaiser, so of course I answered. Fool
let the machine take the call, you can always pick up if it is really someone know

Nomorobo is truly a blessing. It's free - nothing to buy and no services to pay for. Now, the phone rings so rarely it's lonely at times.

Will have to try that one or get a recording of such. LOL now that would be funny. That one is better then the tape I have playing "Outer Limits" theme.

I usually always do. Half the time I miss Doctors calls and such because of the spam calls. This time since it said Kaiser, and my granddaughter had an appt that week at Kaiser, I answered. Never again.
also, I have some companies I deal with, they need to get better caller ID monikers!!! The ID sometimes says, "toll free call", or "private" or another alias that telemarketers use. In this day and age of spam call harrasment, they need to do better by identifying themselves. Especially, medical. Once I miss the call, I have to play telephone tag.
