I don't know why we are all of a sudden getting spam calls from Apple re: the info in our "ICloud" being compromised.
I'm talking about several calls a day for several days now. The phone # just changes.
The funny thing is that we have never owned an Apple device of any kind and I don't even know what "ICloud" is, LOL!

Same thing used to happen to me with Microsoft when I didn't use their products.
I don't know if I still get any of those calls because I don't answer the phone for an unrecognized number anymore.

We've also gotten maybe 6 calls every day in January for a week at least. . We don't answer. I do have an Icloud account; I went to my Icloud account; nothing wrong there.

I don't answer them either, but this one leaves a message on the answering machine, so I hear it before I block the # with my call blocker, of course they keep changing #'s.
I never answer, if you do they know it's a live line and sell it to every other telemarketer on the planet.
Using the call blocker for so long, I don't really get very many spam calls anymore, till these Apple calls several times a day for several days now.

Oh yes, those few that actually do leave a message are a pain. And they usually start the message half-way through and garbled so you have to replay it to make sure it's just spam and not a real message. I swear they do that on purpose since when they leave the call back number it's always clear as a bell!😖

I wonder if those calls are even from Apple - maybe "pretenders"

In my case they are definitely Apple imposters, since I don't own any Apple products and I have no ICloud account.

So true!
I have to put my ear up to the answering machine to try to understand the message, but at the end, the call back number is loud and clear, like a neon sign, LOL!

The calls aren't being directed to you. Some automated system is calling tens of thousands of numbers a day at random in the hopes that someone will fall for whatever scam they are dishing out. Deleting the number doesn't work because they just call back with a different number. I've been getting calls like that from a "Vacation specialist" who supposedly is responding to my inquiry. The problem with that is I haven't made any inquiries about vacations or anything else travel related. I know it's a computer generated voice but she sounds so human! All you can do is hang up like I do and hope the calls stop.

The aren't from Apple just like they aren't from Microsoft. Neither one calls people. They are scammers who want access to our computers.
