Heavy rains and floods in Aswan province in Egypt forced scorpions out of their burrows and into houses, sending over 500 people to the hospital.
Thank goodness there was sufficient scorpion anti-venom available to treat them all.
I've never heard of anything like this happening in real life.

Yikes! That w/b scary.
Once, when I lived in an apartment, we had a scorpion get into the apartment and I didn't know yet.
I came home and set out to go downstairs where the bdrms were and my husband was down there. He yelled at me DON'T COME DOWN HERE!
I'm thinking what the heck!
Turns out one had not only gotten inside but had gone down the stairs and was in the bathroom.
He said it was really hard to kill! I could hear BAM BAM BAM, as he was hitting it with a shoe or something. He just didn't want me coming down there and being scared.
I'm a Scorpio, too, but no thanks to having scorpions inside the house! ![]()
