Sonny James died today at 87.  Anybody remember "Young Love"?

One of my favorite country singers.  Have a 45 rpm of Young Love!

I loved "Young Love" - - and I went to college (and dated Glenn) with the 4 guys who later became his back up singers - the southern gentlemen.  All of them were straight arrow guys.

Remember him and that song very well. Was one of my favorite slow songs that I listened to quite often when I was young.

Rest in Peace, Sonny James

So sad when I read this - I just loved Young Love. An amazing talent!!!

This has nothing to do with the topic but demonstrates how I loved those singers of years past - so very good. Heard 40 Miles of Bad Road today on the car radio - one of my all time favorites - Duane Eddy - one of the most talented guitarists there ever was - I know - I am old!!

I also remember this song. I don't remember seeing him on tv, but just checked his website and saw a pic - not familiar. The best music was in the 1950s/60s.
