I just listened to this song for the first time, and it made me cry. What?
Three Dog Night: Pieces of April
I must say Boomers had the best music. Any songs that make you literally shed a tear?

Since my mom passed in 2013 every time I hear her favorite song by Conway Twitty "Hello Darlin" 1970 makes me cry. For myself personally "Babe" by Styx 1979.

A few that comes to mind...
One of my fave male singers...fab smooth, raspy voice!
Michael McDonald - I Keep Forgetting
............................................................................
Chris Rea - Fool (If You Think It's Over)
Title of a great video of it on youtube:
Side note/fact...
Decades ago Chris Rea's looks and husky voice made me melt into a puddle...
........................................................................
And...
Barbra Streisand - Evergreen

I wouldn't say cry but I get emotional at Fast Car by Tracy Chapman and Leonard Cohen's Hallelujah, both for me powerful songs.

"You Don't Bring Me Flowers" by Barbra Streisand and Neil Diamond
and
"Forever Autumn" by Justin Hayward
both are just so poignant.

My husband's aunt and mom passed in 1999. His aunt in February and mom in June. Both times coming home after they passed, the song Angel from Sarah Mclachlan came on. Now he can't listen to that song without thinking of them.

Holy heck, yes, Sara McLachlan makes me tear up. And of course, they like to play her during those commercials to help dogs and cats in need. I can't even.
