Back in the late 80s, during the time I was making a life-changing decision, Basia's "New Day for You" inspired me and helped me keep going.  (I still love listening to Basia.)

So did Bobby McFerrin's "Don't Worry, Get Happy."

On Christ the Solid Rock I Stand

 

Two old songs I learned at church when I was growing upand they always run through my mind when things are hard.  They have been sung by me maybe more times with tears than not.  I remember the words to many of those songs.

A CD by Straight no Chaser took me to radiation everyday. I'd lose myself in their harmonies and not think about the forthcoming treatments.  So fortunately it worked!
