Miranda Lambert's  "The House That Built Me"

Music from Phantom of The Opera...I forget which particular songs at the moment..

Nat King Cole "Smile" (ironic) One of my mom's favorites from way back.

Played it for her, via Facetime, while she lay, sedated on a ventalator last year...so now...It really brings tears. But also...it's like her message to me, to smile, through your tears.."You must keep on tryin...what's the use in crying" ...I remember her singing this so pretty, when I was young. That and "Fly Me To The Moon" another of her favs she used to sing. 💔🎶❤️

@Kitty Galore @Kachina624 "Time to Say Goodbye" is definitely a song that is a tearjerker. Also, "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again", from "Phantom of the Opera".

Truthfully most Christmas songs make me teary eyed.

Also Danny Boy.

Listening to Pavarotti, Eric Clapton, and the East London Gospel Choir singing "Holy Mother" for Pavarotti's 1996 War Child Fundraiser shakes me to my core.

I am amazed at the role music can play affecting our emotions. Sad music, even instrumentals, can make low spirits, and upbeat songs can cheer people.
