Lindsays Grandma, he is doing well, thanks.  Today he went in for a post-surgical check-up.  Everything looks good, and he is tooling around and doing everything except lifting heavy objects, basically.  The church wanted him to help take down stuff after the bazaar this coming weekend, and he had to decline, which is too bad because he loves to do stuff like that!

 

In approximately a month, he will go back briefly to the hospital;  they will put him under general anesthesia again, and send a tiny camera thing up to his ureter to remove a temporary "tube" they had put in there during surgery.  Then he should be problem-free and he may regain most of the function of his right kidney, we hope!

 

Thanks once more to you and all the wonderful posters on here who have sent prayers, and expressed concern for us.  Hugely appreciated!

Oznell, I am so happy that DS is doing so well. You and hubby must be so relieved.
