Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue. 

Did you have a something blue at your wedding (or any of the other things)?

My blue was the garter.

I think I had all of those but it's been so long that I can't remember.

Mine was a Blue Sapphire Ring my Mom had given to me years before.

She passed away a few years before I got married. On the day of my wedding I sat

down closed my eyes and thought of the memory of that day she gave me the ring, then I slowly slipped it on my right hand. That was the final touch I needed.

Well, it's been 52 yrs. If I remember right, I think it was a blue garter.

I wore a blue sapphire ring that was was my grandmothers, that was both my blue and my old.  It was given to me so it was not borrowed.

Me too, garter.  I guess a lot of them were blue at the time!
