Are you doing routines like that now, KLW?

No!  A friend of mine does work on the silks, and I'm thinking about going to this particular studio to see how I fare in an introductory class.

I will be humbled, no doubt in my mnd.  Cat LOL

Go for it, KLW!  I'll cheer you on safely on the sidelines😊

Hahaha!

It was so inspiring to see the beauty and athleticism in that show.

I hope I don't end up with the silks wrapped around my head.  Cat LOL

@QueenDanceALot tee hee my own personal visual of me -vs- the silks was ripping the tiles out of the ceiling . . . . dance my friend, dance! . . . . Smiley Happy

eta:  I just watched the video and I didn't realize she climbed that high . . . as I am not comfortable with heights of any kind I am happy to say the ceiling tiles can rest well tonight!

She's an artist, athlete, and performer, not a stripper.

Strippers are performers. Smiley LOL

So is a bongo player.

I wasn't talking about them either.

What's the 'concern'?

Am I missing something?

What are you were worried about, per the header? I looked at the vid, and I kept thinking how dirty her feet were!

It was a tongue in cheek reference to another thread.

Wow...absolutely fascinating and thrilling!! You have to be quite the athlete to be able to do something like that. It looks like something I could have gotten into in high school or earlier twenties. I was a gymnast back then. Wish I had half the flexibility now that I had back then.

@PinkSunset

This thread was started yesterday soon after the other thread was posted. The title is just a witty jab at the huge misunderstanding of the original thread.

It has nothing to do with not "letting things go".
