My nephew and his wife have one . . . the one's living with my father in TX . .. her name is Snickers . . . but I always call her Sprinkles instead . . . being my ornery self. Snickers does NOT meet any strangers . . . she LOVES everybody . . . don't know IF that is the breed or just her.

Don't ask me why but she reminds me of Ginger Rogers and she does have that ginger hair.

It is a lady. Yes, this breed is really great with people and children. My sister has had them for years and when my niece was a little girl she used to put the dog in a stroller and would stroll him around and he loved it.
