Poor kids. If he said that to her out in public, it makes me wonder how he treats his kids when he's at home.

I could not agree more. I was thinking the EXACT same thing. Shorty, I'd have had a REALLY hard time not saying anything. Smiley Wink

When I was 12, my father took his then girl friend and me to see A Clockwork Orange. I did not understand the movie, but, I remember parts were very violent... And se#xual. I still have memories of scenes I saw in it to this day. I do not know why he took us to see that movie....I think it had just come out and was really popular. I never did asked him why .....? Shorty

To me it no different than child abuse. Geesh, what an idiot. That poor child!

I was just going to say the same thing. This was more than lack of common sense. It was abuse.

Re: Some parents have no common sense

There's a big difference between taking kids to movies that are more adult in theme or nature than taking them to something that terrifies them.

I went to a movie when I was a little girl with my older cousin. Can't remember how old I was but maybe 8 or so? One of the previews was for a werewolf movie. I was so terrified I had nightmares for a long time and was very scared. I kept seeing that werewolf snarling and growling in a big close up.

These films are too much for SMALL children.

In its original release, the film was rated X. Very intense scenes. Definitely disturbing.

when I witness behavior like hat. ( the parent) I have to grit my teeth and squeeze my hands to prevent mE from attacking----those types would just as soon punch me in the nose as not----and I wonder what goes on at home? in private??

Re: Some parents have no common sense

Unfortunately, many children are born to parents that have no business in that role. It is the way life is though, and the children then grow up, have children, and it becomes a cycle. Sad, but there are no prerequsites to becoming a mom or dad.

I remember seeing parents taking children who were way too young to see Jurrasic Park. A couple of them started crying hysterically and had to be taken out.

Re: Some parents have no common sense

We went to the midnight show of ""Natural Born Killers"" when it came out. There was a very young ""couple"" in there with a newborn and a 3 year old. Someone reported them to the manager and they left.
