have really dropped here (NE Missouri) I paid $1.64.9 today and just heard on the news that prices will go down more. At least there is something to be happy about.

Its 1.94 here, and I thought that was good! It's a lot better than when we were paying over 3 bucks a gallon, thats for sure.

$164?!?! What kind of car do you drive?

price of gasoline is not relevant for me since i'm not going anywhere.

Actually it isn't good news. It is being done to drive US producers out of business so OTHER countries can control production and pricing.
Remember the "good old days" when OPEC ruled? Yep.

That's $1.64 per gallon, not $164.00. I drive a Dodge Ram Big Horn Hemi truck, not known for good gas mileage but I LOVE it anyway.

Lower gas prices are very bad news for states that depend on oil revenues to balance their budgets. They also mean the loss of hundreds of jobs.
