Some Doctors really are compassionate...

I am so pleased! This Doctor has been mom and dads Doctor for years, when I began having panic attacks last October I went to him - I didn't know who else to go to, and he always seemed so kind with mom and dad.

I have had a problem for 19 years with outer ear infections, they are miserable. There have been many times that I have had to resort to the ER or Acute Care because my ENT can't see me. Two years ago the ENT finally made a diagnosis of TMJ and that was causing a lot of my ear problems...Unfortunately due to major insomnia and panic attacks a mouth guard has not been an option.

All this week I have had that fullness in my ears, this morning I awoke to the swelling and pain. I took a chance and called this Doctor, they were leaving for the day but held the office open for me treated me, gave me prescriptions and helped to avoid another ER or acute care visit. Last time I went to acute care they gave me nothing, said it wasn't bad and sent me home with instructions on how to treat swimmers ear. From experience mine turn bad very quickly. Last time I was at ER it was a nurse practitioner who treated me, she gave me something homeopathic and sent me on my way, I had a horrible allergic reaction to it and ended up at my ENT a few days later needing my ears wicked.

So my ear problem this time is definitely tied to my TMJ, my jaw is really inflamed and yes the ear is infected...He also was kind enough to tell me how to treat the inflammation in my jaw from now on - no one has ever been helpful with this issue.

I just felt the need to post something good about a Doctor...
