I have been checking in to the different Lock N Lock presentations to see the various hosts say goodbye to Chris today.
The TSV (a great deal IMO!) came in a slew of colors and was really selling well. At one point earlier this evening one of the colors (cinnamon) was sold out.
If you look up this item online there are 9 colors left (as of 1:42 AM) and cinnamon is one of them. The frst color to sell out (on ITKWD) was still available online much later in the evening before disappearing.
Are there different stocks available for on air presentations vs online shopping? I didn't know that
sold out on the live shows didn't necessarily mean you couldn't get something if you shopped online!

It seems to me that items that have sold out occasionally return to inventory when the sale is unable to be completed. I imagine there is a variety of reasons why sales don't go through.
And often though a formerly sold out item appears available and back in stock, once you attempt to purchase and put it in your cart you find out that it's not available after all.

Apple Cider, who was "sold out" is available at this moment.
It almost always happens that items left in carts reappear.
I have successfully purchased on the app colors that the host just said "sold out."
Personally, I believe that some portion is reserved for app/web purchases.

I think it sells out, but people change their mind and cancel the order. I have had that happen with a few things that were supposedly sold out, but then back again after a few hours.
When they are presenting the item live, on-air, they probably project that something is going to sell out based on how many are being ordered in real-time and the inventory they know they have.

I found that to be true with more than one product.
The last few days I've tried to order an item that showed it was available, but when I try to put it in my cart the "Sorry, this item just sold out" message appears. Then the item disappears, but a few hours later it shows up again, only to get the same sold out message. This went on for at least three days. On and off the item page, but never available to order.
If the item is sold out, good grief--take it off the order page and keep it off until it's actually available to order again!

Hi @781Florist
When you say 1:48 am, was that after the TSV day? In addition to what the others stated, I had a different thought. Maybe sold out colors from the TSV come back into the inventory after the TSV price expires. Because there are only so many units planned to be sold at the TSV price and then once it goes up, there are more.

@justashopper Yes, it was after the TSV expired but the price was exactly the same. (It has since gone up.) As @THEY CallMe Mr Wilkes pointed out, the Apple Cider was still listed as available even though it was the first to sell out early on Sunday (mid-afternoon).
That's a lot of cancellations! LOL! I'm glad I ordered my color when I did. It sold out and has stayed sold out so far. I know this isn't some big earth-shattering issue but I just found it kind of puzzling and decided to throw it out there because I knew you guys would have explanations.

Many of the hosts do say "sold out but check QVC.com". They have been saying that for years. Millions upon millions of people watch QVC Tv. So when a particular color or size is low in quantity, to low to accommodate the TV audience, they say "sold out". If you go to qvc.com, SOMETIMES you find some that are still available. This is not new. Savvy QVC shoppers know this.

This irritates me. They will say 200 sets left and online is not available. I always order from my Ipad and it happens often.
