Re: Social Security Increase Medicare Decrease

I’m glad for the increase as this is the highest I’ve ever received & glad Medicare is going down $5. We’ve already been told the supplemental insurance will go up.

Insurance companies have footed the bills for “free” vaccines & “free” test kits. So we do pay for vaccines & kits or at least I did & the costs showed up in my supplemental. I’m hoping my former company will just raise the cost modestly.

8.7% is a joke!..I got notices from my supplemental ins. and script plan..that their prices are being raised by 10% in Jan.2023.

Some drugs were moved from tier 3 to 4..which is a big increase.

Really? I was shocked when my CVS Caremark drug plan for 2023 dropped copays down to no more than $35.00 per month for both my life sustaining insulin pens. I was paying about $1200.00 for a 3 months supply.

That and a very large increase in mine and my husband's SS, will make 2023 a great year!
