Social Security Increase Jan. 2012.....

I heard there will be an increase of 3.7% in Social Security benefits beginning Jan1, 2012. I have not received any information from the SS Dept. about this increase. With previous increases the Social Security sent you a letter explaining the increase and the dollar amount you are to receive. I've received nothing.

Has anyone else received notice from the Social Security Dept. about this increase? Is it really going to happen? Thanks in advance.
