Social Distance and Interactions

I am doing fine staying at home and taking little walks with DH, he has been working at home since March 16. All restaurants and bars are closed here except for take out and delivery.

I miss going out weather shopping or to a restaurant. I miss talking to others. I know this is only temporary and we will survive just venting a bit

Stop being afraid of what could go wrong and start being positive what could go right.

@I am still oxox

Nothing wrong with venting a bit.  I think it helps others to know that there are others who feel the same way.

Re: Social Distance and Interactions

I think this might be a tough week as the novelty is starting to wear off. The things we didn't have time for we now did. I only catch up on the news once a day now. This is when we have to dig deep and keep going. It's not like we are in a trench on the beach of Normandy. We are in our safe home.

Wrong is still wrong just because you benefited from it.

I hear you...my friend lives alone is needing a bit of human contact....we are getting together with 1 other friend this week - tailgaiting while having coffee....there are no cases in our county of the virus.

Re: Social Distance and Interactions

Our neighborhood does the 2:00 Sunday wave.  At 2:00 on every Sunday afternoon, neighbors go outside to their front yard.  We talk across yards and across the street.  Some people  walk up and down the street to greet everyone.  We always maintain the social distancing.  It is a good way to stay in touch and make sure everyone in your neighborhood is doing okay and doesn't need anything.
