A few years ago I bought a huge bottle of liquid dish soap at Costco. I use this to refill the little bottle that I keep by the sink. Well, the other day I was refilling my little bottle and happened to notice an expiration date on the side of the big bottle. I also found that my liquid dishwasher soap is a year past the expiration date. Gosh, it never crossed my mind that these products would have an expiration date!
Anyway, the huge bottle is now a few years old. I have about 1/2 left. I would hate to waste it by throwing it away. I googled to see if using dish soap after the expiration date would make one sick, if I should throw it out. I couldn't really find anything that specifically said it was a hazard to use.
So I am asking the wise folks here. You all seem to be so knowledgeable about so many things. Does anyone know if it is a hazard to use expired dish soap?
