I kind of like Speedo guy in the Sotyktu commercial.  I wouldn't say he's overweight, just beefy.

I am sick of the mistreated animals. I hate those commercials and refuse to watch them. I have been on a Hallmark Kick for the last several weeks, and for some reason in the evening time, that seems to be one of their main commercials, that and  the snow leopards. I became so weary a few days ago that I just changed the channel. If I am watching a sappy television channel, why wold I want to watch about animals being neglected, abused, or hunted. Grrrrrr...

Back to the topic. I have seen the commercial being discussed. I don't find the man to be obese at all. I do not care for the commercial simply because of the speedo, that does not look attractive on any man even compettitive swimmers.

Ok. First of all if we are talking about the Sotyktu Commercial (And I guess we are because of the comments about the daughter  being "embarrassed" by her Dad.) that guy is not fat or obese. He is just a regular dude to me. He would look fine in a pair of shorts or swim trunks but gets the point across in his smaller suit.

That isn't the commercial that I was thinking of at all.

The one I saw was a commercial with an older man on a beach chair with a coconut drink on his tummy that rolls off when he falls asleep. 

I have no idea what it is for.

I am still surprised by the comments about this commercial, though. 

I may have been a bit harsh in my comments & I apologize but I do think people are somewhat mean about other people's bodies.

And I don't even know what to make of a comment like "Besides, a man puts on a Speedo and he gets what he gets..."

Is that like "She was asking for it with that short skirt."

What an interesting thread.  I know that commercial, mainly because it's a Psoriasis commercial and yes if you or a family member has this auto immune disease, you're likely to remember it.  This seems to be one of the newer medicines for Psoriasis.  I also do not find the man in this commercial remotely obese, probably could stand to lose 20 lbs, but I would bet he will at some point.  And he seems to wear a shirt when he's outside with the speedo on..... I found that a nice touch (I don't like speedos either).....

@ValuSkr, I agree he is beefy, my husband's was built like that, he doesn't appear to be over 6 ft. he would look so much better in long inseam swimming trunks with adjustable waistband, legs to the knee length. JMHO.

And I'm not shaming...
