The dryer repairman was here EARLY. I finished putting stamps on our Christmas cards and am almost finished decorating. The weather is miserable and I have no intentions of leaving the house other than to take the dog out.

Bless your heart. It does get easier.

I'm going to continue what I started yesterday.... to toss out all opened items of make-up and stuff in my bathroom.
I keep only items I am now using.
I have tossed out lots of lip sticks, lip gloss, eyeshadows, eye mascara, hand lotions, body creams, shampoos, etc. etc.
If I opened it....it is gone. At the end of the year toss out the old and get ready for the fresh and new.
I do this every six months. When I was 18 years old a friend that was a model (beautiful lady over the age of 50) told me to toss out all make-up opened every six months. I been doing this all these years. She said it was healthy for our skin.

Pretty much the usual. But since you asked about today? Here goes!
We are waiting for our general contractor to start making our house our home again. After sewage covered way too much of our home, it is now missing flooring/doors/rooms and drywall, just to mention a few.
Our Patio Room has always been good to us, but now it is like having a second home, especially during the dismantling of our home. It will also serve the same purpose once the crews start making this our home again.
I am not looking forward to putting all my many pieces of exercise equipment back the way I had them, nor the task of tracing electronic wiring for my massive home theater equipment. Some wiring runs above and under drywall ceilings and walls. Makes my brain hurt thinking about it, Would be much easier to install, from scratch, a new home theater for someone else.
Oyyy, just the thought of it!!!!

Got up about 7:00....which is early for me......had a cup of coffee, watched the local news, took a shower, got dressed, and left to go to the Hospital for a checkup with my oncologist, blood drawn, vitals taken, and then my chemo treatment. Came home from there, and am just now checking out what is going on here and the Q.
Will be taking it easy the rest of the day and evening. The chemo treatments take so much out of me, and tire out very easily. My oncologist was very pleased with my check up......that is so important, because not very many of his cancer patients are taking the Opdivo treatment. There wasn't an empty chair in the treatment room...... Thinking they need larger quarters. So, so many folks have cancer.

@ShowMe I'm glad your oncologist was pleased with your check up. Chemo sucks, I had it for 6 months when I had cancer. It does take so much out of you. And everything tasted horrible, which was very frustrating. I hope the rest of your day is good.

Got up took shower, watched the morning news, went to a hair appointment, stopped by grocery store for a couple of items. Just made cranberry sauce with fresh ginger and red pepper flakes added (I am trying replicate an hors d'oeuvre I was served recently). Called to make Dr appointment and returned call of tree trimmer to set up an appointment. Now I think I will read a chapter in my book.

We took our 3 1/2 year old grandson to a local mall to see the Christmas train garden. And, he sat on Santa's lap. Then we did a little shopping and came back to our house.
I promised him that I would bake a batch of cookies. Then my daughter will come, with our 7 month old granddaughter. We'll have dinner, they'll go home, and we'll go to bed.
I am really fighting a nap right now! It's rainy and dreary today.
