My ex husband's half brother shot himself in his Grandmother's Mobile Home. My ex was 20 years old and he was the first one they called. His half brother (Mother's child) was in his mid 20s and  spoiled alcoholic. He had twins when married and one child  died choking on a hot dog, divorced.

My ex resented his Mother for calling him first and never ever forgave her. He was bitter. Suicide haunts a family forever.

Isn't it said men tend to use a gun but women are more likely to use pills? Sounds like a horrific combination of pills and alcohol. Very tragic news.

@wagirl   Glad you mentioned Worst Cooks.

The troubling thing was that BEFORE her death, there were a number of social media exchanges about why Worst Cooks was renewed WITHOUT HER!

In one exchange, fans asked her why she wasn't going to be on the 2025 show coming up, and

she replied, "I don't know."

Fans were shocked. Network gave no reasons. 

That was just months ago.

Many of us were trying to figure out how/why she was suddenly dumped from a successful show.

A friends 22 year old son killed himself last year.  Her husband, who she left just months earlier died first, then her son three months later.  Just graduated a few months before from Penn State. The whole family have suffered.  Sooooo sad.  No note.

@smoochy   That is really a TRAGEDY...I'll leave it at that...I don't think a healthy person wakes up one day and does that...

@Tinkrbl44   At a certain point some years before she married her husband, she was engaged to a woman.

The cause of death doesn't surprise me.  Supposedly there were pills all over the floor.  I would have been surprised if there had been a different cause of death.

@KKJ  Kate's death was a shocker, wasn't it?  However, to the family it wasn't as much. After she died, family did reveal a snapshot into her life and how she was struggling.  Poor thing.  We never know.  Same with Ann.  Seems like not much info has been given by family and friends.  Privacy at this time I am sure.  You just never, ever know!

@shoekitty  For sure, and Kate had a young daughter I remember.  Not sure if Anne had any kids?
