Since 'Archie' is commonly linked to Archie Bunker from the tv sitcom, 'All in the Family' and he was known a sexist, racist bigot, I'm shocked they would choose 'Archie'.

Or 'Archie' from the comic books, neither one being appropriate for a royal baby.

But that's just my opinion.

The elated parents chose the name and it's okay with the Queen but uh-oh, not okay with some people on the QVC forum.  They better change it.

I know it doesn’t matter what I think but I have the opinion that Archie brings to my mind Archie Bunker...as another poster stated...for that reason I don’t care for the name.

Spencer didn't make the cut and I didn't think it would be part of the child's name.  They did included Diana's siblings in the Instagram announcement where they listed all of the happy family, something William and Kate did not do in birth announcements.  Perhaps to soothe any hurt feelings since the public was all into Spencer being part of the child's name.

Sussex is their area of title. His last name will be Montbatten-Windsor after Phillip and Elizabeth.
