Re: So disappointed in Q programming

I got excited when I first started seeing "gift" programs thinking there would be things that I like.  I'm not going to give heating pads and humidifiers as gifts though.Smiley Sad

Re: So disappointed in Q programming

I enjoy the clothes shows and miss Leah doing the Sat. morning shows with Isaac, Denim & Co. stuff like that. To much perfume, men's items, stocking stuffers. I check online the different collections, then, drive to the mall.

Got my annual gold trinket at Sam's Club this yr. That will be my anniversary and Valentine's gift for Jan and Feb.

Wolfgang is on late tonight and Sun. probably watch that instead of David.

Already into HSN on a flex pay, so, hopefully I won't see anything I want of Wolf's. LOL

Sometimes the world seems pretty bleak. It was a diversion, but less and less so.

Re: So disappointed in Q programming

I used to have it on while I did other things and if something was presented that caught my attention, I'd stop to watch and perhaps order. No chance of that now.

They've pretty much lost me completely too and it isn't just seasonal. The Christmas gift season might be the absolute worst, but they never seem to offer viable programming at virtually any time of year anymore.

But they arent making a ton of money...their revenues have been down for several quarters and several years. They eeked out a small disappointing profit (primarily due to international QVC markets) in the 3rd quarter,..but have you noticed they are going with the more expensive items for their TSVs....so if they dont get the volume in sales they will make up for it with the price....But their strategy doesnt seem to be working and they made yet another change at the top with some of the Executives which isnt a sign of confidence nor stability nor that they are doing well.............

I came in a bit late to the QVC "party" been a customer for about 8 years....so I never saw Kathy Levine, Mike Rowe etc etc....and I realize QVC will never go back to the same merchandise that they had years ago---Tiffany Lamps, collectibles, quilts, even art work, nice jewelry at reasonable prices, different styles of home decor........BUT COME ON QVC...all your doing is bringing in the same BORING products you've shown all year long, but putting a bow on them and calling them "gifts"(whcih no one I know would want for a gift-huimidifers, yet another vacuum, a ladder, Keurig, windshield cover, throws, electronic chargers, outdated electronics, and of course a camera).........ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!  All I have to do is check my program guide, or take a peek while flipping channels and flip right by....for my gift giving I chose other sources...sorrry QVC you lost me as an option of Christas gift giving and from the many threads about the offerings, other customers feel the same way........

All the complainers aren't watching or buying due to lack of interest, but it does not stop you all from taking time out of your day to complain about the Q's offerings.

@makena

We complain because we'd like to keep QVC as a retail option because we remember QVC used to bring in some many unique and new items..........Its interesting that some chose to complain about other posters who are just leaving feedback..............
