Re: So disappointed in Q programming

I completely agree. How about an "Isaac Gift" show, showing his cashmere scarves, hats, items that truely ARE gifts?! I look forward to January for the only reason that the Q goes back to normal programming.

Re: So disappointed in Q programming

All the complainers aren't watching or buying due to lack of interest, but it does not stop you all from taking time out of your day to complain about the Q's offerings.

Re: So disappointed in Q programming

@Mominohio I was actually surprised to see a few jewelry shows but they are on in the wee hours of the morning on the east coast.  I agree with you that most of the items on the "gift" shows are not items I would give as a gift.

I mostly tune out QVC this time of year unless I happen to get lucky and stumble on a show I might find interesting.

Well, thanks for your words of wisdom!  Maybe some people just don't like the programming and want to voice an opinion.

Just think how much money we are saving by not having anything to buy! Plus we don't have to worry where our packages are going, etc.🎄🎁📦🚛

This reasoning is rather like working on a Federal holiday.  Everyone else is at home enjoying their day.  Folks in charge keep telling us we are luck as there is no traffic to contend with.

I had some time this afternoon to sit down and watch some TV.  I was looking forward to Jill's gift show.  I'm so disappointed!  Vacuum cleaner?  Humidifier?  Dusters?  Outlets?  So now, I'm watching the gem shows on Evine.  Guess which feels more like Christmas gifts I'd like to give!!!!  C'mon Q.....you can do better!

@Krimpette

And repeat shows .....   If QVC ever had to change the name, they should call it  "The Re-Run Channel".

@Krimpette,   Totally agree with you.  I have not watched in weeks except for about 10 minutes.  I am sick of seeing "Gifts" for the program.  This is the worse time of year for watching QVC.  Cat Tongue

I def agree.....BUT add to that January & Feb with  all the New Year New You shows, Diet products , exercise equipment, etc.   So maybe back to normal programming by end of Feb/March....

This has, without a doubt, been the worst Christmas ever on QVC.   What do all those highly compensated executives, like the director of product development, do all day?

That's an assumption a lot of people seem to make and while I'm sure they do still make a lot of money, their financial reports have actually not been very postive now for quite some time. Sort of makes you wonder why they don't mix it up. We all know the old saying about doing the same thing and expecting different results. Their array of 'gift' shows are just dreadful and yes, I agree it was nice to see Evine offering jewelry during holiday gift season and in prime time too.
