So disappointed in Q programming

I had some time this afternoon to sit down and watch some TV.  I was looking forward to Jill's gift show.  I'm so disappointed!  Vacuum cleaner?  Humidifier?  Dusters?  Outlets?  So now, I'm watching the gem shows on Evine.  Guess which feels more like Christmas gifts I'd like to give!!!!  C'mon Q.....you can do better!

@Krimpette The Q has disappointed me so much over the last year, I do not even turn it on anymore, do not even miss it!

Yes, the programming really stinks. How the heck do these hosts get excited to sell this stuff? It would be so hard......I haven't watched a full show on QVC in a very very long time......I did however watch some of Kim Gravel's show last night on QVC2. Sometimes in the morning while eating breakfast, I will turn on the morning show, and take a peek, but this time of year the programming is awful.........so repetitive.......

Re: So disappointed in Q programming

I love a good practical gift, but I agree, there is not much 'gifty' that I'm seeing on Q as we get closer to the holiday.

What happened to candles (real and flameless), nice but not overly expensive jewelry, seasonal home decor items, etc?

Because they don't do things like Tiffany lamps, baskets, bears, Waterford etc any more, I would think that during November/December would be a great time to have a show or two featuring those kinds of items (not necessarily a whole hour of any one of them, but some of all of them in a show instead) as they are still very giftable.

I see the same things they sell all year long some of them just boxed for the holiday. Where is the new stuff, the unique stuff, the stuff that used to make us go "WOW"?

@Krimpette,   Totally agree with you.  I have not watched in weeks except for about 10 minutes.  I am sick of seeing "Gifts" for the program.  This is the worse time of year for watching QVC.  Cat Tongue

@Mominohio  You know, you're so right!  I had actually forgotten about the Tiffany lamps, hand made baskets and bears!  I even bought some of those things.

@2blonde

People will complain that those things are 'out' and no one buys them anymore.

I agree, they may not sell like they did back in the day, but couldn't we sacrifice one hour per week for the six weeks leading up to Christmas, to do a show with those kinds of items? I mean would Josie Maran or Susan Graver pack up and leave if we took just an hour or two away from them?

Just think how much money we are saving by not having anything to buy! Plus we don't have to worry where our packages are going, etc.🎄🎁📦🚛
