Re: So Who Is Ready For SPRING!!!!!!

It would be ok with me if we skipped winter every year. Even though I grew up in Boston and New Jersey before moving to Atlanta,  I'm not a fan of the cold weather at all.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

Re: So Who Is Ready For SPRING!!!!!!

I live in a four season state, so every season has its own weather challenges.

I am no fan of cold, snow, or ice.

Once the holidays are done, I'm ready for spring.

I don't like winter very much.

I live in a warm climate, so 60 degrees for a high temp is cold for me.

We've had an unusual amount of gloomy, cloudy days this winter too.

I want the sun!

Re: So Who Is Ready For SPRING!!!!!!

Count me out! Spring leads into summer and that is 90 days of "heck" for me. Hot sticky uncomfortable, weather and AC is as expensive as the heat in the winter. I love dry crisp cold days. It wakes me up... With the heat I drag. I love the fall too but, it is so short lived in the eastcoast . The winter just started here and with our crazy 60 temps going to 30 going to 40. Its a roller coaster ride. Winter just started less then a month ago and I love it!!!!!!

Not me. I snowbird so we live in perpetual summer. I prefer when we are home in our comfy house to the summers living in a camper though both have their good aspects.I am not wishing away my time at home.

It has been unusually warm here and I am HOPING AND PRAYING for some cold or when Spring comes we are going to be overrun by bugs.

No, I am not ready yet.  Of course, for us to date, it has been a milder winter then we are accustomed to.  Some sub zero temps, but also some days in the 50s and 60s. and really not very much snow.  While not a fan of winter, I'll leave it up to mother nature.

If the bugs wait for spring consider yourself lucky.  I've already been pestered by bees, seen more than enough flies and the way the birds are pecking at the ground something else is about to come forth.

What is good for the goose today will also be good for the gander tomorrow.

I make the most of what I have. I don't wish my life away.
