Re: So, Who Assassinated JFK?

@pitdakota @my brother was a Col USAF who oversaw two presidential visits out west.  My dad was stationed in Texas, Florida, mostly La, Barksdale.  Nice to meet you too!  It was such a special childhood.  Freedom of the base and the diversity.  Quite the shock when my dad retired.

As a Texan I disagree. Someone wanted him dead and I think it was those in our gov't.

@croemer  Oh now c'mon.  You know as well as I that Texas holds the sole blame for everything wrong in this world.  (tongue-in-cheek)

psst:  Whatburger was bought out by some company in Chicago.  There goes the burgers.

Re: So, Who Assassinated JFK?

Even as a naive teenager, I did not believe LHO was the lone gun person.  Years later I stood at the window at the Texas Book Depository and knew it was not physically possible for one person to inflict those wounds.

Did you read it?    If so, what's his theory?

@Tinkrbl44   Yes, and I think you should read it.  It's not "his theory" it is based on suppressed facts.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

@Shawnie, my father was a Col as well.  He actually was in the Air Force before it was the Air Force.  He was a B-25 pilot in WWII when it was the US Army Air Corps.  He came out of the service at the end of WWII, but was called active during the Korean War.  Back in that day, they could call a previous officer back into active duty.

At the time, he was employed as a state police officer so they actually ended up putting him in the Air Police instead of having him continue to fly.  He would also end up being sent to Vietnam during his years in the service.

And I more than agree with you about it being a special childhood.  I wouldn't trade my childhood for anything!  Well, maybe being able to remember a little bit more of England when he was stationed there.  LOL!  I was little so I remember some things, but that doesn't count!  lol

Re: So, Who Assassinated JFK?

I was 8 when Jfk died, and have never spent time wondering/thinking about who killed him.

At 64 and seeing the world as it has changed, my thoughts are that an inner circle of government employees knew exactly who killed our president.   I choose to believe there was scandal, corruption, and a high level of danger involved, which resulted in a decision to keep this information silent.   I do believe those who knew have taken this information to the grave.

I do not expect to know the full truth about his death in the remaining days of my life.

Re: So, Who Assassinated JFK?

LOL If you generally reach for books in the "humor" (or "fiction") section, read "The Hidden History..." IF you can manage to get through the poorly-written dreck, full of "[so-and-so] told [so-and-so], who told [so-and-so]..." And that's when the author isn't promoting himself and treating the reader to an exercise in self-aggrandizement--for nothing.

Better, if you hadn't heard of him before now, do a little research on author, Lamar Waldron (yes, THAT Lamar Waldron), who's never found an assassination of note around which he can't spin a conspiracy theory🤔. He should stick to writing his fantasy books. Oh, wait.... 😉

Then, for a real treat--again, if you missed it in the intervening 50 years-- read up on Lee Harvey Oswald, the supposed "patsy."

Lee Harvey Oswald killed Kennedy. Then he killed Officer Tippit. Deal with it.

Re: So, Who Assassinated JFK?

My brother has done extensive research into this as his hobby.  There are many conspiracy theories and many different suspects. Unfortunately we will probably never know in our life time.

It is what it is!!!
