It was the 80s. I think 1988 or 1989.

I was working with a group of women in 1990 who constantly talked abt buying this and that from a TV shopping network which turned out to be QVC.
I first began shopping at the Outlet store and went to the QVC studio store a few times in the early 1990's .
Some years later , in the 2000's , I ordered a few things via phone and via online. I stopped buying from QVC my opinion was the merchandise was stale , same old thing or not the quality .

Probably in the late 80s. My first purchase was most likely a Morgan Fairchild or Black Hills Gold ring.

Seems like the beginning of time. LOL Actually it is way back when our Comcast Cable carried it and I believe it might have been almost the beginning of QVC. Loved in the beginning. I had four daughter in my house and a teaching position. I had little or no time to shop except for groceries. QVC was a lifesaver for anything I might want or need. Over time I really pulled away. Need no more, have more time to explore and the Internet really exploded with other choices just in case I needed to buy something.
And I will add the hosts and vendors talked PRODUCT and there was more serious talk to help us make good choices. Loved the old hosts, a real loss when they left one by one.

I was home because I'd hurt my back at work, was channel surfing on tv and came across QVC. That was April of 1995. Mentioned to a friend that I'd found this shopping channel and she'd been watching for a while.

Such a long time ago, Jane T was wearing diapers.
Before it became QVC.

late 80's. I came home from American Bandstand a disco and was channel surfing around 2 am. I think my first purchase was jewelry. I started with HSN right before that and bought jewelry that was probably a gold chain from Michael Anthony. Still own lots of gemstone bracelets.
I bought the first clothing item that Mary Beth was presenting from Denim & Co. It was a Navajo blazer.
