It is important for you all to know that I finally took a shower at 1:15 and have moved to my recliner.

It is 46 out and gray and gloomy with rain around. I'm not leaving the house, thus my extremely late start today.

Why is it, when I have a 50/50 guess at something, I'm always 100% wrong?

I've done my PT stretching and exercises, unloaded the dishwasher, have the last load of weekly laundry in the dryer, been for my walk, and made us lunch.

Oh. And. My husband is sick. If the world stops today you'll know why. Smiley Wink

It's only 9:15 am here so we are drinking our coffee and easing our way into the day.  I've been off of work since Wednesday, so tomorrow it's back to the grindstone.  At least all the laundry & ironing is done so today will be a day of relaxation.

You all are dynamos compared to me.  @gidgetgh  At 1:15 I am eating my breakfast cereal.  I just got up about 15 minutes ago.  I did take my shower at 3 a.m. so I am good for today.

I am a nightowl and last night didn''t go to bed til 5 a.m.  was reading "Resurrection Walk" and got to a really nailbiting part and couldn't put it down.  I do that too often.  DH was just getting up and ready to shower and start his day.  He has been to the grocery store before I got up and he will probably spend the day watching football and cooking a roast.

I may wash a load of clothes or maybe not.  I plan to watch "A Biltmore Christmas" tonight.

We usually go out somewhere to eat on Sundays, but not in the mood today.  It is dreary outside and gives me the "aches".

I didn't cook Thanksgiving so today I felt inspired.  Made a batch of au gratin potatoes (had potatoes that needed to be used up) and made oven fried pork chops.  Will make some vegetable to accompany the meal.  Something green.

Was going to go out shopping but I got sidetracked washing my hair.  I went on Kohl's site and ordered a few items instead. Easy to return at the store if they don't fit.

Re: So Whatcha' Doin'?

Our kids are down for a visit this weekend. We have attended the lighting of the lighthouse, fireworks at the beach, Festival of Trees, and soon will be sitting down to a turkey dinner. Busy weekend but so much fun with family. Love it!

Just chillin' and watching The Godfather 1, 2, & 3 (we got free 'Showtime' this weekend) and having Thanksgiving leftovers for dinner, just enjoying my relaxing day.

Made 3 kinds of Christmas cookies and stuck them in the freezer for later shipping to my son and dil in Washington. It's a yearly ritual. They so enjoy the care package from home. I'm cutting back this year as the last couple of years my UPS charges to ship from the Midwest to the west coast were upwards of $150-$200 just for Christmas cookies!!!

I'm just sittin' here listening to Christmas music by BB King, having a glass and just mellowin' out.

So what are you doing?

@KingstonMom That brings back good memories for me. I saw BB King live at a very small intimate club when I was 19 (I'm 70). I sat on the floor probably 8 ft away from him. What a show.

I just finished my Christmas decorating today and will start wrapping gifts tomorrow.
