@BalletBabe....Oh my what a horrible thing....it does make you wonder...my dad died of prostate cancer, but he told me he had been to the doctor for a full check and got a clean bill of health.....not a year later he was diagosed with prostate cancer, it spread very quickly and he was gone in a matter of months.

Too many.
Yet no one on either side of the aisle ever mentions bringing this horrendous war that has been going on 17 years to an end. I don't understand that.

Frequently when cancers that start elsewhere metastasize the secondary tumor is in the brain.

My heart goes out to everyone who is in the midst of this journey.
This beautifully simple contrast of birth/death/birth...... will remain part of my life. THANK YOU FOR POSTING IT. @phoenixbrd

That happened to my Mother. She had Cervical Cancer and three years later lung and brain. She died at age 63. I will be 66 soon. I was in my 30s when she passed. Cancer is so wicked!

@Mom2Dogs Wait till you hear this one. My neighbor across the street started having issues breathing. (This all happened like 2 months ago) He went in and they told him he had cancer in his kidney. He went in for surgery and they told him they got it all and he could go back to work in 3 to 4 weeks. He was home a week and a half. He was watching another neighbor cut his grass. He said he could see him watching him go back and forth. Then he started yelling I cannot see! They rushed him to the ER and told his wife he had about a week left to live. His brain was loaded with Cancer. He lived 5 days. I have lost faith in Dr.'s. They told her she could put him in Hospice or take him home. She brought him home. Just too much cancer. This is one reason I refuse immunizations.
OH, that is just so sad. I have personally known more than a few cancer patients who got the all clear fromt he dr, only to be told a week or two later that the cancer had spread and there was nothing that could be done. I have honestly wondered if perhaps sometimes the drs look at the wrong persons scans or something?

@Mom2Dogs Oh I am so so sorry. You know I worked in the medical field a long time ago. I saw many come in and get a clean bill of health and they passed a week later. This is why I don't do Physicals either. I have never had Physicals by GP's. If you want a good check up for heart, see a cardiologist. Women need a Gyno. GP's are nothing but traffic cops. Today the insurance companies tell them what we need. Most of it we don't need. It is all about money. This is why I won't have a HMO. I head to a specialist for anything other then blood work and meds.

@happycat You know my family Dr. in Pa. used to always say. Well, everything looks good on paper. That told me a lot. Medicare is wasting so much money , it isn't funny. These Welcome to Medicare visits are a total joke and a big money maker. Same with all these immunizations. Look up ingredients in Flu shots for one. Then they want Pneumonia, shingles, whooping cough, tetanus, etc. I Know 3 people that died having a colonoscopy. tHey were fine, it was just routine. Do your research before you do anything, that is my suggestion. THe Flu shots are pulling down our immune systems, but they are practically shoving them down our throats. The last one I got , sent me to the ER that night. I had hives all over my body and my family Dr. said it was not from the shot. Really??? Never had hives before or after that. I refuse them all after reading the ingredients.
My hubby passed 2 1/2 years ago. COPD---He got Pneumonia in August, in October the Dr. told him to get that Phneumo 13 shot at Walgreens. My hubby said to me would you get it? I said "No Way" but you have to do what you feel is best for you. He said he wanted it. That night he had a fever 101. It took me 24 hours to get him a antibiotic. The Dr. claims it didn't come from the shot. I have had it with Dr.'s LOL

@151949 I realize that, but a week and a half later your dead after being told they got it all? Something very wrong with that.
