@arizona babe The McCain family did release these pictures, taken by David Hume Kennerly. The first picture of Mrs. McCain was authorized by the family.
Yes, the McCain family is acutely aware of Senator McCain's place in history and respect the documentation of his life and his passing.
I thought that the media were very respectful of their wishes.

@BalletBabe wrote:@KatieB I do a lot of research on this medical stuff. Flu, Pneumonia, Shingles, whooping Tetnus, and a few more. These injections have things like Mercury ,Aluminum, and many others. They are pulling our immune system down. Reseach anything like that. Last year was worst ever for Flu. They NEVER have the right strain. I refuse all of it and I find it really suspicious that no matter where you go they are pushing them. Now they are giving them early , so you will need a booster. It is all a joke. Merck has been sued for the shingles vaccine, as people got shingles from it. Now the new one you have to get 3 shots. l
@KatieB Holy cow , I Just read this and corrected the million typos. I don't know how anyone could read it. LOL I guess I need to not post when I am dead tired.

I wish people wouldn't photograph a grieving widow at the casket like this, unless she has given permission (and maybe she did).
I just think she deserves some privacy at that moment, and if she didn't give her permission for this to be taken and/or shared, I'm sorry someone couldn't give her the privacy everyone deserves at a time like this.

All I know is whoever you are, famous or not, you may know what is coming and what the prognosis is, but no one, and I mean NO ONE is truly ready when the moment comes to say good bye to a cherished loved one. Death is the great equalizer for us all. And I am particularly touched by the words of John Donne, "Each man's death dimishes me for I am involved in mankind; therefore, never send to know for whom the bell tolls; it tolls for thee."

@Mominohio, As @Cakers3 mentioned a few posts before yours, "The McCain family did release these pictures, taken by David Hume Kennerly. The first picture of Mrs. McCain was authorized by the family."

I agree with you both, @Cakers3 and @QueenDanceALot.

This photo of Cindy McCain IS sad, but as @151949 said, I've seen it before. I imagine anyone who has lost a loved one, including me (my brother at 28) has cried over their loved ones' casket, most of the time in private because we are not famous.
Our nation is sad, but the grief of a loved one is the same, whether the person in famous or not.
I was glad to hear the family authorized the release of the pictures of her and Meghan.
I'm sure she will rely on her family to get her through the hard times, and she's got a strong loving family.
I imagine now everything is over, it will hit her hard. Just like I imagine it did Jacqueline Kennedy so many years ago.
