Celebrities, in general, are in a world of it’s own ... THEIRS.

I know some will tell me not to pay attention - but celebrity stories are everywhere. Furthermore, I am tired of celebrity women posting pictures of themselves and selling beauty items. I think they should have to post a makeup free photo with their items. I am not jealous - I am just tired of the fraud they pull on the public!
They also want to tell us their opinions on everything - from immigration to religion. Who cares - they do not live in the "real world" like the rest of us. They tell us what to think and then they disappear behind their walls and into their mansions!
100% agree with every word of this post!!!

Funny how that works, isn't it? Since I happen to lean the same way a lot of celebrities do, I don't get the yips about what they say. I suspect if the majority of celebs leaned the other way, we wouldn't be having this conversation.
I save my anger for those who can actually do damage to people.

I stopped caring about celebrities and their opinions when WW made Sarah Ferguson their spokesperson. I don't remember who was the "face" of WW before her...maybe there wasn't one. I DO remember thinking "this person has NOTHING in common with my life. She has a cook, trainer, nanny....WHAT DO I HAVE IN COMMON WITH HER?!"
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Put someone who has lost 200 pounds, has 5 kids, physical issues that make exercise difficult, not much money and has kept it off for years as the WW spokesperson. THEN your members will want to hear what she has to say!
In the end, I don't care what anyone else thinks about the important things in life; those things that matter to me. I do my own research and make my own choices. The only issue with celebrities is when they use an event that has NOTHING to do with politics as their platform to ram their views down the viewers/guests throats. Thankfully, I refuse to give those kinds of shows my time. I feel for those who are held hostage at them, however.

They do have a right to their opinion...
They do not have the right to tell me or anyone
to live our lives according to their standards.

I can take them or leave them. Sometimes I watch what celebrities are doing and sometimes I don’t. I like the old celebs like Audrey Hepburn and Cary Grant etc. If I was in the elevator with someone famous today I probably wouldn’t even know they were famous.🙂

Celebriities have a right to their opinions and free speech and I have a right to ignore them. Which I do. Nipsey Hussein got a first class funeral here in LA. My channel that I was watching decided to air it. No biggie, I switch to QVC and bought a top from Isaac.

They have their followers and that's fine with me. If and when they talk about something that interests me I watch or listen. What they say seldom has any influence in my life. Like everyone, they are free to say almost anything in our country.
Unless what they have to say is in their field of expertise? It means about the same to me as your post, something you wanted to say.

Agreed. Nothing worse than narcissistic reality show "stars".

So called "Celebrities" are merely over paid actors...
Same goes for over paid sports players..
They all put their pants on one leg at a time, just like the rest of us...
I acted in plays in high school/college..
Not really that difficult...
As it is their right, actors have freedom of speech but I agree with some of the comments here...
I am tired of hearing what they have to say and ignore them for the most part...
BTW..
I would rather see our military, fire people, police and first responders among others get paid what these so called actors/sports people get paid..
They earn it...
