I was just thinking about the turnover of QVC hosts:
- Jennifer Coffey quit
- Kerstin Lindquist quit
- Courtney Khondabi on leave until April
- and Mary Beth Roe retiring next month
That's a lot of show slots to fill in.
Sounds like the remaining hosts will be working extra shows for a while.
There's a change of tide happening at the Q and I'm sure many viewers will miss the familiar faces and comforting consistency of the long-term hosts on their tv screens.

I think being a host is a grueling job. There are sales and fashion meetings, in addition to on air shows and all the prep work that precedes them.
Unless you finally make it to a seniority position and you get your preferred hours, your schedule is not your own, and personal lives can suffer.
I'm guessing the first ten years are the hardest.
theres still no comparison to the average working woman juggling a full time job, kids and daycare. A 40+ hr work week with low pay.
A hosts job is PLUSH in comparison.
Couldn't agree more. No offense to the hosts, but they are WELL compensated, considering the hours they work, compared to anyone in healthcare, the military, waitresses, teachers, etc. Kerstin once posted that she'd like to be able to live on a mere $350,000 a year so she could give away the rest.
Must be nice to work 16 hours a week (on-air) and make that kind of money. Even if there truly were 3 hours of prep time per hour on the air, it's a heck of a lot less work than most people put in every week. (Besides that is only when it's a new or unfamiliar product, most of the hosts will say they don't have to prep as much when they know the products.)
I'm sure it's quite stressful, but so is most any other job.
