David Venable said during his Coffee Talk chat that she is fine (not pregnant) and would be returning to QVC in April. No explanations about her absence anywhere.

There are also lots of illnesses and normal vacations.  Jayne Brown was out for two weeks.  Monifa is out for two weeks now on vacation.  Jane Treacy was out for most of the month of January, etc. 

With two Live channels and also selling Live on TikTok, they really do need all those hosts.

With HSN moving into the QVC facilities in PA they will have an abundance of hosts etc to cover both QVC and HSN. I’m sure there will be many program format changes to both venues. (Down sizing).

OT but i really like the new host Sam. i think she came from UK qvc.

While maintaining their own identity, I'd like to see all Fashion lines go to HSN, and the kitchen, garden, etc. stuff go to QVC.

IMO, HSN does a much better presentation on fasion than QVC.

That's a lot of show slots to fill in.

Sounds like the remaining hosts will be working extra shows for a while.

There's a change of tide happening at the Q and I'm sure many viewers will miss the familiar faces and comforting consistency of the long-term hosts on their tv screens.

I think being a host is a grueling job.  There are sales and fashion meetings, in addition to on air shows and all the prep work that precedes them.

Unless you finally make it to a seniority position and you get your preferred hours, your schedule is not your own, and personal lives can suffer.  

I'm guessing the first ten years are the hardest.
