So Important!!

I watched the beginning of the "Today" show this a.m. to see about the election results and the lead in story was Miley Cyrus' engagement. These morning "news" shows have degenerated into entertainment sound bites, with a little hard news thrown in just to keep it called a news program. I stopped watching these shows a couple of years ago for just this reason, but now it is getting worse. This is off topic a little, but there is something not "first lady" like to have her doing the top ten on David Letterman. Are our country's leaders now becoming nothing more than celebrities?
