So Ebay Now Charges a Fee to Return Money to Your Account?

I returned an item and was refunded and charged $3.50 to deposit the money in my account.  I was really surprised.

I don't think I've ever returned anything on eBay.

I'm not sure how all that works since they broke off from Paypal - they used to be connected.

@makena  If the item was defective or misrepresented, you should not have been charged anything.

It probably was a restocking fee from the vendor and not ebay.

I don't think that's it.  The $3.50 fee was listed as "transfer debit" from paypal*Ebay

I think it may be an error on PayPal's part or how the seller processed the refund.  Perhaps you should contact PayPal.
