Re: So Cal weather changing...part 2

Northern California weather has changed, also.

Summer in the Bay Area usually includes A LOT of fog. Not so this year, it's been warm and muggy almost every day and I'm sick of it.

And then there's the biggie... the draught. That will affect the entire nation, since so much wine and produce comes from this area.

I'm sitting here in San Diego at the ocean---watching people swim and sun on the beach---I've never been here before only to the North Pacific----lots of times----it's warmer here----people did tell us about the drought---we have one in CO for 5-6 years

Yes, and when I was growing up here, there was no such thing as humidity in N. CA, just hot, dry heat, which I can take, but the humidity does me in. I also remember while growing up that we had a rainy season from at least October through April. There were definitely four seasons, but now, we get summer weather in Spring, Fall weather beginning now, and who knows if we will have a Winter. I remember one Winter it was so cold that there were huge icicles hanging from our second story deck.

I'm in the IE (close to LA) and it's been over 100 degrees for several days. Our hope is that some of the hurricane will come our way, but last time it went to Arizona. September is usually a hot month for us, but we don't want any more 100s and above.

Where I live, we get the hot dry Santa Anas every Fall......we have barely had any the last 3 years, it seems so strange.

Until this heat wave, my town didn't even reach a 100 degrees this summer, which it usually always does.....BUT because of all the humidity, it felt AWFUL.
