I’ve been poking around on Google.
Apparently there’s a difference between a ‘mudslide’ & ‘mudflow’.
Insurance companies consider mudslides too big of a risk
to insure. Mudflow might be covered under flood insurance.
They also said the difference between slide & flow is the amount
of water & objects being moved.
California Folks: Is this true?
Man that would/will be a shame if insurance doesn’t cover
their former homes/belongings.

@sidsmomthank you for poking around! You've made a great discovery. I had no idea there was a distinction between flow and slide. Maybe someone has direct info on that.
