He should be allowed to return. Personally I think Snowden is admirable in many ways......

As the old saying goes, he made his bed, let him lie in it.
He should be allowed to return and have his day in court with charges filed as a traitor. Then he can rot in prison for the rest of his life.

We now know that ATandT and Google freely give information to the government. I personally doubt he can get a fair trial. What evidence is there that information he disclosed cost lives? Please cite sources other than Blaze or Breitbart.
Careless do gooders who travel to war zones and hike into forbidden territories cost live of those sent to rescue them. Better lives are lost in exposing our governments illegal activities.

So...let him come back here and face the music. I think he should be prepared to spend the rest of his life behind bars, but maybe he'll be able to let his fate be known to others who are thinking of taking his path?

But I am more concerned with the continuing growth of illegal and immoral activities of our government institutions that have been going on since after World War II against our own citizens and innocent citizens of other countries. MonsterMind, Eye5, and dozens of other secret surveillance operations that have been created to spy on citizens for doing nothing more than protesting wars or policies.
If anyone wants to throw the "traitor" label around, you have only to look within our own government administrations--past and present--to find more serious and appropriate targets than Edward Snowden to which to attach that label. Oh, and you can add the labels "murderers" and "war criminals" to some of them, too.
I think that what Snowden revealed about what is going on in secret under the dubious name of "national security" is much more important than his actions. And, apparently, so do many of our "friends" in other countries and lawmakers right here in our own country, witnessed by the immediate sanctions and restrictions and laws put into place following the revelations.
Only a very, very, very small drop in a huge bucket of unconscionable, reprehensible acts committed by politicians and governments....on both sides of the aisle, I might add. Not small to her, I know, but it pales in comparison to so many other activities over the decades that resulted in deaths, tortures, overthrows of governments, assassinations, all in an attempt to control economies, natural resources, populations, wealth. Certainly not to "spread democracy" or to "secure our nation and citizens," which is sadly the ONLY statement so transparent anymore as to be considered laughable by most.
