Wow, we opened the curtains this a.m. and we have snow!!  Like a Christmas card. It's still snowing, but it's o.k.   SW MI.

Speaking of cards.  I tucked the first 2 away that we got, while I was tending to things around here, and now I don't seem to find them. Got one yesterday that reminded me.  Guess that's what in store for me today.  Good grief.

Nice when you don't have to go to work.  Enjoy it.

I was hoping that would happen here (se PA), but I have yet to see a flake this season.

Enjoy the treasures of the snow!

Yes, it is, but I did my white knuckle driving all the years that I worked.  So I understand.

Yes, the first snow is always nice.  Wait until the end of January/February and you may feel differently!!!

We got an inch last night.  It's cold, so I think it will stay on the grass.  It's really sunny, so it should melt off the sidewalk and driveway.  I'm fine with it unless I have to go out and remove it.  😀

SE Michigan - reporting snow with accumulation.  Not enough for a snowman, still exciting to see.

We ended up with 9”of wet heavy snow in Georgia. Truly gorgeous with all the trees in this heavily forest area. Snow has stuck to everything and anything. Winter Wonderland for sure. However, we have lost power and trees coming down due to the weight of the snow on the branches. Like I said I grew up in Buffalo but I have never seen the snow so thick on the trees as they are here. But we had a good 24 hours or more of wet heavy snow. Sun out now and globs of snow finally falling off the trees. The trees look much happier. If anyone has Bliss lights, they are the best when lit with snow everywhere. So magical, I have had Bliss lights for years but this is this first time it snowed here since we moved to Georgia at the Holidays that I have seen them lit with snow. I have never seen anything so beautiful. I kept running outside off and on lol just to look at them. Finally took a video. So other than no power, we do have a generator, it’s improving out there.
