I used a radio flyer sled when I was young. We went to a park in the city that had a huge hill. My kids also used sleds, and later some saucers.  Anyway I havent sledded in years due to my back issues, but my grown kids sled all Winter, and now of course so do my 3 grandchldren.

 

I always wanted to ski but I never skiied, but my brother and his entire family ski. (They lived in Colorado when my brother was in the service so his kids learned as toddlers).

Flexible Flyer wooden sled and flying saucer. I have been on a toboggan but we did not own one. All 5 of us had our own sleds. So great!
