Snow in the forecast for the first day of Spring

I just heard 3 to 6 inches of snow is in the forecast for Friday! I hope this is the last! I thought we were out of the woods but I guess not.

Anyway, I cant believe it will lay on the roads like they're saying, because yes its cold again now but it was in the 50s the other day and I was finally in our hot tub on the deck, (and it was glorious!). And on Saturday its going to be 50.

So maybe it will be what we call the onion snow (here in PA),, as in the last light snow of the season.

I remember snow storms in April in NJ and MA when I was growing up. OP, I hope this storm is the last for you, but you never know.

We are getting snow tomorrow also. 1-3 inches but on top of the three feet we still have that's enough. This has been the longest and coldest winter that I can remember. We even broke records this year in the Boston area. I would rather break a record for the least amount of snow. Bring on summer, I am so ready.

It's not spring in Michigan till May. Looking out my window, I see many drifts of dirty snow.

Central PA will get 3 to 6 inches of snow from late tonight through Friday afternoon according to AccuWeather. It looks like the first day of spring will be white. It won't stay long; Saturday is supposed to be a high of 49 degrees. It's only 25 right now.

Snow forecast for us here in Northeast Pa too. 1 to 5 inches. Right now it's beautiful, sun is shining even though it's still pretty chilly. I don't anticipate any "real" warm weather here until at least mid April. A few years ago I had to scrap frost off the windshield on hubby's birthday...May 2nd. This has been the longest winter ever.
