Re: Small font, along with other problems!

@sunala AND @ID2

DO _NOT_ THINK TWICE ABOUT ANYONE HERE, CRITICIZING PARAGRAPHS! I KNOW OF TWO-FOR SURE- THAT DO THIS. ONE WILL ACTUALLY ACT UPON AND DO IT AGAIN FOR THE OP.

EXACTLY 'TRUE'

THEY HAVE NOTHING ELSE TO DO BUT SCAN THE BOARDS.

SUNALA,

THIS FONT IS IN #5 BECAUSE I COULD NOT TYPE OR READ IF I WENT DOWN ONE LEVEL.

I HOPE THAT THE LARGE LETTERING IS NOT A PROBLEM.?

I HAVE DECREASED MY POSTS TO 98%, UNTIL ( -> WHAT?) FIXED....

I have my preferences set to xlarge and my post set to 5. How does it look?  I will use this until they finish with the changes.  Or I may go to bold.

it looks pretty big on a laptop.

@sunshine45    Can barely read your post. I am using a magnifying glass and using a typical in store qvc font. BOUNCING AND too small, I'll have to make choices for me. I do not post this often, only to a few friends every 3-4 days.  Sorry that your laptop rec'd large lettering. MY ONLY way to read what I am typing. The bouncing back is a real problem when tying. It's not worth it. For those whom have no QVC Internet foul up, GREAT!

I almost always use Georgia, font #4 whether on my ipad  or computer but sometimes it comes out like #3.  It could be that as a poster types, they don't realize how small the result will look to the reader because of the way it looks on their device.  Unless it's really, really small.

But @Mmsfoxxie , posters haven't changed their fonts, they're using the same fonts/sizes as they were before - when it all appeared larger.   Font size suddenly shrunk on the same day for everyone affected. Clearly something changed at QVC.

@shoesnbags, Mmsfoxxie APPARENTLY does not understand what you are saying. i, also, like the Georgia in purple. Again,

          What a mess! This is not the 1st time qvc digs around trying to improve.

Leave what is working alone!

@NAES1- this entire font business is entertaining, looking at the tiny fonts and the giant fonts.  I'm sure the tiny font will look like dust on my iPhone!

Re: Small font, along with other problems!

I am guilty of typing too small, I go back & sometimes review what I post & find I can barely read itWoman Wink myself. I'm going to start typing larger, kind of like this, but maybe in bold black.

   @Sookie Says,

                       I can read with a magnifying glass but to me on my computer, still very small, as mine at #3.

I prefer #5 for those who are seeing -still- teeny tiny print.

  What I do not understand, is this foul up is not affecting some but for the most whom I post every 3 days, THERE's a problem with different  other areas, such as copy and paste, bouncing, screen page too large taking entire page,et cetra ,,,,,,,,

Also the notifications(s) do not flash when on on another thread. Could be only mine?

Thankyou for your input;I try to read everyone's.

Re: Small font, along with other problems!

Hi @NAES1

I played around with my settings today and made a few changes.  In my opinion, the newer versions of tablets are more able to accommodate this new website.

I also think that there is not enough space on the page for it to work on mine with previous settings.  So I changed my iPad display setting for text size to a smaller one. In my case the second hashtag.  And I changed my community preference display text back to medium.  And then this is 5 on the post page.  Anyway, it looks better, everything fits better, and it feels a little smoother.  I can stretch the screen to read better. On the home shop page, there is more room for the search bar. Easier to type.

May not work for you, but for me, its doable.

Good luck to everyone.
