Slippery leather car seat solution recs

The car seats we have are the slipperiest leather I've ever seen. When riding as a passenger in front I have to hold on to the overhead handle to keep from sliding forward. The drivers side is more worn in and isn't as slippery. I'm looking for a car seat cover that will hold on that can cut the slipperiness. If you know of one or know of a different solution I'd appreciate it if you would share your information. Wading through reviews of seat covers on line there aren't any I've come across in a quick look that address the slipperiness of original leather.

Seat covers would probably slip off.  At least it makes getting into and out of the car easy.  Don't you use a seat belt to keep yourself in place?  Inquire about the problem at the dealership.

@Mindy D,  not a direct response to your question but maybe food for thought.

My passenger seat is also slippery and when I have to transport my dog or cat I place a silpat mat on the seat then cover it with a towel so the dog or cat carrier doesn't slip.  Works like a charm.

I also use a similar type mat under my handbag to keep it from shifting or sliding.

Perhaps something like that would work beneath whatever seat cover you decide to use.

@Kachina624 @Yes, but they don't keep you from sliding forward.

@Mindy D   If you will search Amazon for "Non slip seat cushion" they have many options.

When I purchased my car the very next day I purchased sheepskin seat covers for both the driver & passenger seats.  That ended the slipperies.

If you clean your seats with leather cleaner then that might be why they are slippery. Leather cleaners contain wax and that can build up over time. Probably need to clean that off.

Do you know if seat covers can be used with heated seats?

@grandma2pkmh @IThank you. I did but I'm still not certain what to do.. It's the covers that are not supposed to slip, not the persons sitting on  them. I can't determine if these nonslip covers will work. That's why I'm trying to narrow down which ones would help solve my problem.
