i got a grizzly and didn't want to get into the questions that will crop up because don't make sense. Yes, another bedroom that is connected to HIS bathroom He won't sleep in there.    I do....  I'm always the one who gives in. Yes, the other bedroom has the same mattress as master, he won't go in there. He gets up at 3-4 and if he would go to other bedroom would cure our problems. He just won't concede.

only time he will go in there is when the night before I have to sleep before an operation. Recently cataract surgery I think I'm gonna need a tonsilectomy next I'll know soon. That's his room where his Tv is, etc. but he won't sleep in there.   I can't explain it, so, just let it be asked do the sleep number beds really cure snoring?

Believe me nobody lives like I do.

@SharkE

I got mine from QVC several years ago. I was waking with back pain every morning. DH too! I couldn't believe the difference when we got Sleepnumber. I thought I needed a firm mattress but my sleep # is very low (soft). DH has his around 70. We've both been very satisfied with our Sleepnumber bed.

I don't think my model help with snoring. Maybe newer versions where you can raise the top half would?

that's what I wonder

I read online "can help with mild snoring' this is not mild snoring. I've taped him on tape recorder and played it back for sister she said she'd never heard that kind of snoring before. LOL

He probably wouldn't pay for it anyway. I'll probably just have to keep going to 2nd bedroom and walk around the baseball card table and junk that is HIS room.  I'm just the help , you know.

@SharkE - I've had my sleep number for probably 15 (maybe more) years. Husband adjusted to it quickly, took me a few days. We have both found our "numbers" and he has less pain.

I do not have the model where the head part raises up - seems like it might help.

Is he gasping?  It sounds like he should be checked out for sleep apnea.

I know he has a hiatal hernia in throat.  When he snores his stomach does something strange like jerks LOL  Something not right. I just escape to 2nd bedroom and let the King have the master and master bath.

NO it does not help snoring. You want to hear a recording of DH? LOL!!!

I always yell knock it off.

I make him rollover. I don't like him sleeping facing me snoring in my ear.

Yes it helps with pains. I like if I need more air I can add it or if I need less I can let some out.

It's low profile so sheets are too big. Needs at least a 2" topper to help. I'm not buying sheets from Sleep Number or some other not so comfy sheets.

No way would I let DH have the master bedroom & bathroom.

I have the master fixed with black out roman shades plus blackout curtains with wrap around rods so it's pitch black.

I cannot sleep with any light. It drives me crazy. Light does not bother DH so if anyone around here is sleeping in another room it won't be me. LOL!!!

Besides he always runs into the furniture because he cannot see in the dark & I can. Woman Very Happy
