Re: Sleep Number bed anyone?

I don't have one for myself but my BIL and his wife bought one about a year ago.  I know it has a cooling feature and all the bells and whistles ( I don't know every feature they hgot) but it cost $15,000.

I assume the bed has to be plugged in for it to work?  That does not appeal to me.  I'm fine with our Beautyrest and for my sometimes occurring acid reflux, I sleep on 3 pillows--no need for an adjustable bed--LOL!!

Re: Sleep Number bed anyone?

We have had one for about ten years. It still works fine. On the plus side it is the only bed I have been able to sleep comfortably on my back. On the minus side if you sit on the edge you feel like you're slipping off the bed. This bothers my husband.  Has anyone found a solution for this?

Re: Sleep Number bed anyone?

I really like my Sleep Number Queen bed with the Flex-Bed option with the adjustable head and foot, done by remote control

I would not buy another bed that did not have the remote control adjustable head and foot.  It makes such a difference if you want to read in bed or change your leg position.  It was immensely helpful to me when I broke my leg and wanted to elevate my leg because of pain and swelling, yet I wanted it flat to get out of bed.

We have had ours for about 20 years and like it.  We had to replace machine where the air comes out about 12 years ago but haven't had any other issues.
