Re: Skinn.....................

Yes, and after buying and returning a few of his items three times, the only product that I really like that is very good for my skin is the Enriched Softening Essence Pre-Treat and Hydrate Lotion. I buy it from the bay because it sells for half price.

Too many products and too long presentations. Once that guy gets in front of the camera, there's no getting rid of him. He goes on and on all week-end. He has amazing endurance.

Re: Skinn.....................

It's way too confusing. But then I'm just not one who likes the whole "kit" philosophy of selling skincare anyway. I want to pick exactly what I think I need and what I like.

The whole spiel about how this kit for $59 is such an amazing deal because if you bought each item separately you'd pay a gazillion dollars may be tempting to some, but not to me. And what I hear from some devotees is that although they like the line, they are overloaded with products after buying kit after kit after kit.

I do think he can be fun to watch, but a little goes a long way.

Re: Skinn.....................

I ordered the Restore handcream for the first time last week. It's gotten really good reviews, so I'm going to give it a try. I haven't tried anything else and I'm not sure I will, but I really hope the handcream works.

Re: Skinn.....................

Topez, I got his hand cream in a kit. It seemed to have a perfumed scent. I threw it away. Then, I got another one in a kit. This time I used it but mixed it with a Perlier scent I like. Hopefully, you will like the scent. I do feel Dimitri has too many products. I got his new serum he raved about. If it works, I would think you could cut out some of the other products. I have most of his products and they have done wonders for my skin.

Re: Skinn.....................

OP,

I'm relatively new to SKINN. I agree it was confusing the first time I tuned in. However, I stayed tuned because of Dimitri's charisma.

I watched his entire visit and focused on learning about the products that interested me. I did have lingering questions, but was helped by the regular SKINN thread on this forum (Are you ready for some SKINN). I have purchased a few kits and the only issue I had was that a foundation was too dark. Otherwise, all of my skin care purchases have been great. In fact, the only complaint I have is that I wish he had more time to present each product. I think SHOPHQ hurries him along way too much.

Too many products make it confusing to decide which to try.

Re: Skinn.....................

I've been using the Restore Handcream for about a year. It hasn't removed a single brown spot but it does seem to improve the elasticity of the skin on the back of the hands. I'm not sure it's worth the $$ or effort to use it. I think the effectiveness of most cosmetic products is a matter of the scope of one's imagination.
